Diplomates (D) are AAID members who have become Diplomates of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID). The ABOI/ID is a certification agency that serves independently to protect members of the public who seek dental implant care. The designation signifies that these dentists have met the highest criterions in oral implantology - they have met educational and experiential standards; and, they have reached an in-depth level of knowledge and acquired a proficient level of skill and ability.
Established in 1951, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry is the world's oldest professional organization dedicated to the advancement of oral implantology. The AAID maintains a standardized peer-reviewed examination process granting the status of Diplomate following successful written and oral examinations.

The Associate Fellow membership examination has two parts. Part 1 is a written examination and Part 2 includes an oral examination and the defense of three cases that meet the criteria specified in the Case Requirements section of the Requirements for the Associate Fellow Membership Examination. Candidates for Associate Fellowship must pass Part 1, i.e., the written examination, before taking part 2, which is the oral/case examination. Both parts of the examination must be completed within four years after passing the written examination.

To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years.

Dr. Stanley Lee has been serving the San Jose area for over 30 years, while making numerous friends during this time. He has completed numerous complicated cases involving dental implant surgery, difficult bridge, full mouth reconstruction, molar root canal therapy procedures. Dr. Stanley Lee is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).

Dr. Jennie Lee is the younger daughter of Dr. Stanley Lee and practices in the San Jose Hostetter Office. She graduated from the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2005. She excels in root canal therapy, periodontal treatment, crowns, oral exam and diagnosis. She also performs implant dentistry and has earned a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.C.O.I.), a dental implant specialty dental association. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society. She is fluent in English and speaks some Chinese (Cantoniese and Mandarin).
Dr. Peter Lee is Dr. Stanley's nephew and also graduated from Dugoni School of Dentistry. He also comes from a dental family, as his two brothers are dental hygienists. Dr. Peter Lee practices in the San Jose dental office in Almaden area, which he acquired from Dr. Stanley in 2007. He grew up in San Francisco and is the proud father of two lovely daughters. He proudly serves as a member of the CDA, the ADA and the SCCDS.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Dr. Samuel Ree moved to the states after middle school. Throughout his studies, Dr. Ree always maintained a special interest in the arts and science that ultimatlely led him to focus on a career in the dental field. He proceeded to obtain his D.M.D. degree from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Today, Dr. Ree remains passionate about the challenges of dentistry and the rewards when patients can appreciate the work that has been completed to meet their dental needs. He also proudly serves as a member of the CDA, the SCCDS, and the AGD.
